Your story is not an uncommon one...

Numerous men struggle with pornography in particular and, flowing from that, with a number of problematic and sinful compulsive sexual behaviors which they find they cannot stop, no matter how hard they try. To make matters worse, the behaviors are against their moral code and are shame-inducing.

 

However, there is hope and there is a way to find victory, freedom, and integrity so that one can look at oneself in the mirror and actually like what you see and not be overcome by hopelessness and despair.

 

As Coach and Mentor, I take into account where each individual is in his life, how much he knows about recovery and how far he has progressed. Although recovery is the rebuilding of a whole life, the foundation needs to be strong and sound. With this in mind there are the following options to consider:

 

1 A 30-day abstinence program

2 A 90-day strength-building program

3 A One-year coaching and mentoring program

 

Like a space shuttle blasting off into outer space requiring 70% of its fuel and thrust to complete the first 30% of its journey, so, in recovery you will need help and concentrated discipline in the first 30 to 90 days of your journey.

 

A 90-day period of sobriety and celibacy allows all the chemical imbalances that have built up during the years of acting out, to regain some balance and form a solid basis for the next nine-month stage of recovery. Ultimately, however, the full process of restoration is typically a process that takes two to five years in establishing a new healthy lifestyle which is then to become the status quo for the rest of your life.

 

Finally, it is important to remember there is always hope and that you are not alone. Although the process will require a lifetime of commitment, dedication, perseverance, and the willingness to adopt a paradigm shift, victory, freedom, and purity are all possible in that place of rest that God provides for those who come to Him in full surrender.
